Entertainment
I believe entertainment is a personal opinion. If something is entertaining to you, it means your enjoying whatever is keeping your attention. I guess that's the best way I can explain it. So in my opinion it's not purely on culture. What I find entertaining is my own personal choice I don't find something entertaining because everyone else does. Jersey shore in my opinion has negative entertaining value, It's actually painful to watch. Embarrassment is not entertainment, and if I have to change to channel I don't know how you can call that entertainment. The magazines on walls near registers, I actually find those entertaining to read laughing at some of the things they say. So I cant really use that as an argument to go with my opinion.
I agree with your view on entertainment! And i think its funny so many people keep bringing up Jersey Shore when they talk about entertainment that interests teenagers because i think most teenagers want to get it out there that we don't like that show at all..those people look like fools and between the caste of Jersey Shore and 16 and pregnant they make Americans look like were crazy!
